Angela Emslie

Independent Chair
State Trustees, Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), Frontier Advisors, and RGA Australia
Non-Executive Director

Angela is an experienced Chair/non-executive director and has a wealth of expertise in governance, strategy, superannuation and investments having served on a range of superannuation funds and related boards for over 25 years.

Angela is a non-executive director at RGA Reinsurance Company of Australia, State Trustees Ltd, Frontier Advisors, the UN supported global investor group Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and serves as an expert advisor on the HESTA Impact Committee.

She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST), and in 2018 she was honoured with the AIST Trustee of the Year Award for her contribution to Australian superannuation funds.

Kris Daff

Assemble Communities Managing Director

With over 20 years of experience, Kris Daff is a highly innovative leader in Australia’s property development and real estate market.

As Managing Director of Assemble and Make Ventures (MAKE), Kris has built a career on his extensive experience in financial structuring across all industry sectors, with a focus on residential development.

After seven years with Evolve Development as a Director, Kris launched strategic property investment company MAKE in 2014. Make Ventures went on to acquire Assemble, and Kris has transformed the business into an occupant-centric, affordable Build to Rent development and community management company.

Graham Hodges

Regis Aged Care, Independent Non-Executive Chairman

Appointed to the Regis Aged Care Board as Independent Non-Executive Chairman in August 2017, Graham has more than 35 years international experience in the financial services industry. He commenced his career in Commonwealth Treasury, Canberra where he worked for approximately 10 years before being seconded to the International Monetary Fund in Washington for several years.

For nearly 30 years, Graham has built an executive career at the Australian and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. Since 2009 Graham has been the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, ANZ Banking Group Ltd. Graham is currently a director of AmBank, with previous directorships including Chairman of ANZ SAM Board (Special Assets Management), Esanda, ANZ Wealth and the Government’s Aged Care Financing Authority.

Deborah Kelly

AustralianSuper, Investment Director

Deborah is an Investment Director at AustralianSuper responsible for its Property asset management program.

Prior to joining AustralianSuper in 2022, Deborah spent 20 years in real estate, infrastructure, financial services and principal investment in Australia and internationally at VNSW, Mirvac Group, Stonebridge Group and Babcock & Brown.

Deborah is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants ANZ and GAICD.

 

Bevan Towning

AustralianSuper, Head of Property 

Bevan is a Senior Property Executive with experience in Real Estate Investment and Real Estate Funds Management across Asia Pacific and Europe for over 35 years. 

Bevan was most recently Global Head of Funds at Cromwell Property Group based in its London office and prior to that held a number of Senior Executive roles in Australia in the areas of Property Investment, Development and Construction, Management, Strategic Advisory and Capital Placement.

Bevan is responsible for the global unlisted property portfolio at AustralianSuper.
