Considering talking to a Financial Advisor?

November 28, 2020

A few of our Residents have expressed interest in having deeper discussions about their finances covering topics such as investing, retirement planning, insurance and superannuation.

For this reason, we have compiled a list of financial advisors who we have briefed about the Assemble Model.

While Assemble has no affiliation with these advisors, we wanted to ensure that the financial advisors we recommend understand the Assemble Model in detail, so that they can advise our Residents while keeping in mind their goal of buying a home. We also wanted to recommend advisors that share similar values to Assemble; focusing on ‘financial wellbeing’ as opposed to ‘get rich quick’ advice. Please note that while we have put together this list of financial advisors, we are not responsible for any information or advice they share with you.

When should I speak with a financial advisor?

A Financial Advisor can assist with a review of your superannuation fund and insurances like TPD (total and permanent disability), life and income protection, along with retirement planning.

If you’re in a financial position where you are achieving your savings goals and consistently have surplus funds available each month, like $1,000 over and above your home deposit savings for example, and you would like to invest that money in other ways, then you might like to book an appointment to chat with an advisor too.

How do I choose a financial advisor?

We recommend that you do some initial research via the www.moneysmart.gov.au website and also review this article on how to choose a financial advisor.

You can then contact one of the advisors via the list below or find one that better suits your needs.

If you do decide to speak with one of the advisors we have listed, we welcome your feedback about your experience.
