Letter to myselfJune 12, 2020
This has been an unprecedented time in our history and although it has been stressful at times, being able to take action to support ourselves financially to relieve some of the pressure has been a positive way to handle the uncertainty that we have faced.
It’s so important to reflect on the efforts that we make and the success that we achieve along the way as this tells our brain that this is an important time that we need to remember, and by celebrating our success it builds self confidence in our ability to manage times of uncertainty, which will help us be more resilient in the future.
In the ‘Letter to myself’ (link below) we encourage you to answer the questions on page 1 to reflect on what you have learnt throughout this time. Then on page 2, you can complete the details in the ‘Letter to myself’ so that you can take the time to record these realisations about what truly matters to you, what you no longer feel is important to continue and what you need to remember to incorporate into your lives moving forward.
When life gets busy again, which it no doubt will eventually, this letter will serve as a reminder to bring us back to what we know is most important.
Keep your letter saved and set a reminder in your calendar to reopen it in 6 months or 1 years’ time to reflect on your learnings.
