Over 2020, we’ve undertaken a process of defining a new path for ourselves. In partnership with Studio Round, our refreshed brand and campaign – Homes for Change – supports our new agenda.

Each day we challenge and inspire our team to interrogate assumptions, and the diversity of skills and experience across our growing team of 36 represents our commitment to doing things differently and more responsibly in the housing development space. We are united by a shared, genuine aspiration to confront the countrys housing crisis, and we operate with the utmost respect for the environment and communities in which we work.

We’ve made it our mission to build a better, fairer housing system, and to build change.

We began with Assemble Futures (previously called the Assemble Model)—an alternate pathway to home ownership that enables residents to rent securely for five years, with the option to buy their home at the end of the lease period.

Assemble Futures challenged the industry in creating an alternative housing model and now we’re preparing to challenge the industry again by scaling for real impact.

We’re also building secure rental communities—apartments for renters, where residents can stay for a while, or long as they like, in quality homes located in suburbs where this type of housing is needed most.

We believe it’s our responsibility as developers to create opportunities for a fairer society –to strengthen our communities and provide a sense of place and belonging.

Our ambition and our values continue to have a voice in Assemble Papers,  our biannual free online and printed magazine putting people front and centre in conversations around design, housing, and social infrastructure and impact.

Keep following us on our Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to stay tuned as we continue to build change.
