Why did you decide to join our team?
I was inspired by Assemble’s objective to create an accessible pathway to home ownership for all Australians.

I have a strong background in residential sales but was excited by the challenge of delivering a development under the Assemble Future housing models, rather than the traditional off-the-plan sales strategy.

Assemble is a talented, experienced team in areas such as construction, communications, finance to architecture and everywhere in between, and I look forward to learning more from them about the property industry.

What are you most looking forward about joining the team?
I am really excited by the opportunity to make the Assemble Futures concept a recognisable model that challenges the norms about how we think about purchasing a home.

We are delivering such striking and sustainably designed apartments for people who never thought home ownership would be possible for them. I’m proud to be able to help unlock homeownership for them.

Since launching 4 Ballarat St, Brunswick in May this year, what have you found to be most interesting about the project?
It’s been incredible to have some lovely single parent families come on board. They feel a sense of relief knowing they have permanent accommodation for their families and can really put down their roots in the Brunswick community.

I am also pleasantly surprised at the mix of residents at Brunswick. We are not just welcoming first homeowners but also welcoming multi-generational families, key workers including health care workers, downsizers, and single people looking for strong neighbourly connections.

What is your favourite part of the project?
The communal rooftop with the dog park is my favourite space at 4 Ballarat St, Brunswick building (I adore dogs) and the bathrooms, especially the beautiful textural terracotta feature tiles.

Where can we find you when you’re not at Assemble HQ?
I have a keen interest in fitness and food so you will find me out to dinner with friends or my husband on a Saturday night with a glass of pinot noir in hand, most likely discussing property as he also shares a career in real estate. I am also a proud mum to my fur baby Rufus – the world’s largest mini dachshund!
