We’re thrilled to announce our latest partnership with Seven Seeds Coffee Roasters as a part of our bulk-buying initiative for our resident communities.
Recent reports from the Australian Bureau of Statistics and various media outlets have spotlighted the challenges associated with today’s rising cost of living and the subsequent risk of housing displacement as a result. From inflated grocery and utilities prices to the lack of affordable housing options, this uptick in the costs of daily life will continue to challenge and strain the finances of Australian families.
As a part of our resident services, we’ve introduced our bulk-buying initiative with like-minded companies to leverage economies of scale and offer products and services at reduced rates for our resident communities. Our latest partnership with Seven Seeds Coffee will enable our communities to enjoy ethically sourced, locally roasted coffee in a more cost-effective way.
Since 2001, Seven Seeds Coffee has been delivering exceptional coffee from their stalwart cafes in Carlton and the CBD as well as supplying beans and retail stock from their Fairfield roastery to venues across Melbourne and beyond – including our sustainable café Cassette.
From their annual reporting on pricing and long-term sourcing partnerships to the recent introduction of 100% recyclable coffee bags, Seven Seeds are trailblazers in their commitment to doing business in an open culture of quality and transparency.
We’re proud to partner with game-changers like Seven Seeds whose core values of fairness and sustainability set the tone for better industry-wide practices, and who support our mission for more accessible, affordable housing for more Australians.
“Seven Seeds is excited to work with Assemble whose commitment to sustainability and efforts to minimise environmental impact aligns closely with our own.” said Bridget Amor, co-owner of Seven Seeds Coffee.
Through the Assemble App, residents at 38 Albermarle St. have been purchasing whole beans or coffee ground to their liking from the Neighbourhood team to make their lives more convenient, enjoyable and cost effective. Other household essentials from ethically minded partners; like sanitation pioneers Who Gives A Crap and Melbourne-based social enterprise Thank You, are also available to order for our communities as a part of our bulk-buying initiative.
“We are excited by the addition of Seven Seeds as our latest bulk-buying partners given our shared ambitions around fair and sustainable business practices. Our relationship with our partners is significant in not only offering the best service to our residents but in reducing the cost of everyday items to assist in realising their home ownership goals.” said Nicola Fawl, Assemble’s Head of Operations.
